The Eastern European Festival will take place at Newark Showground in the East Midlands, UK, from Friday 21st August until Sunday 23rd August 2009.
With a target group of over a million people and – based on advance ticket reservations – an anticipated attendance of more than 30,000 people a day, the festival will offer sponsors a captive market to advertise their products and services.
We are offering a number of opportunities for sponsors to ensure their company has a presence at the festival. These opportunities include sponsoring or running market stalls and food concessions (there will also be a dedicated sponsors’ hall), an advertisement in the festival programme, or sponsoring a sporting event, medal or trophy.

About the Festival
The Eastern European Festival is the first event of its kind to celebrate the cultures and customs of 13 very special countries that have large working communities in the UK. Its aim is to bring the essence of Eastern Europe to a part of middle England for one weekend, enabling participants to remember and enjoy their unique heritage and traditions, as well as showcasing these to people who are unfamiliar with the participating Eastern European countries.
The event has full backing from all of the embassies of the participating countries, as well as the Chambers of Commerce. It is a truly international collaboration and we hope you will choose to support this event as a sponsor.
